In order to help cut out any dead links to businesses who have ceased trading or have changed their URL we have introduced a new renewals system.
We now require that all companies log in to their account and renew their listing once a year.
Your listing will automatically be unpublished 1 year after publication unless you renew your listing. You will be sent an email reminder 21 days before your listing expires and another reminder 7 days before.
If you don't log in and renew your listing it will be automatically unpublished from the site.
To renew a listing follow these steps.
- Log in to your account.
- Find your listing in the directory.
- On the main page [the detailed page] of your listing a 'renew this entry now' link will have appeared if your listing is due to expire in the next 21 days.
Click the link and you will be taken to a new page to confirm that you want to renew your entry.
Please note that there may be a discrepancy with renewal dates for businesses who have paid for advertising. If you receive the renewals email and you think the date is incorrect then please just email us and we'll change your renewal date.
This is caused simply by the fact that the date you submitted your entry doesn't correspond with the date you paid for your advertising. For example you may have upgraded to a Featured Listing after having a normal listing initially.
Sorry if this seems annoying but it is essential to help keep our directories up to date. Google hates links to dead sites and so do users! It really puts people off. Unfortunately the last thing anybody does is let us know if they are no longer in business and so over a period of time the number of dead links starts to build up.
Thanks for your help.
